San Juan App Reviews

There are some differences between Puerto Rico and this game. Puerto Rico you have the laborer aspect of the game which adds a level of complexity and skill. This is a simplified version that is relatively more open to luck. Still a fun game.

One complaint: The color choices for certain resources make them hard to distinguish. Otherwise, I have no other issues. iPhone 6s with iOS 10.

First of all this is a well designed game. I play plenty of Eurostyle strategy games. This one is very good. I have played the actual card game version of San Juan several times. This is a very well crafted digital version of the card game.

Right now its 2/5ths of a game so I m giving it 2/5 stars. Can only play AI, online never finds a game.

Im obsessed with this game to the point that Im starting to get a little bored with the same cards. Im willing to pay an extra couple bucks to see the expansion cards which will add more depth to the game. Think about it ;) thanks!

This is a very faithful port of the card game to iPhone and iPad. This was very fun on the phone, but the font is almost too small to read at the end of a long day. It was a strain. Happily, the iPad version is very easy to read, and the layout is even better. Outstanding card game!

I ran across this game randomly and although its a very fun game, I have yet to find an opponent through the app. Obviously, not many people play it, so you are stuck playing against the computer every time.

Fun game that is easy to learn, left me wanting to get the original game. No clue how to connect to other players and German web page gives no clues.

I only played the real (physical) game once and wasnt convinced, but having played a few more rounds here, San Juan plays well and has a certain simple elegance to it. The app is well-designed and straightforward. Nice.

Playing on the iPhone is great!

Game is fun, but it is closing without notice both on iPhone 5 and on iPad. I cant resume the game, the only solution is starting a new game.

I like the single player mode. Ive never had success finding an online opponent.

If you like Puerto Rico, San Juan is worth a try. One of my favorite iPhone games.
