Love the game and the app version, but it keeps crashing on both my iPhone and iPad and will continue to crash if I try to reopen the saved game. Please fix!

I play this game daily; its a favorite. However the update is not good. I dont like having to continually change my language preferences, but mostly my problem is that my games crash once Im in the building phase and have already built a Crane. The game crashes and cant ever be rejoined or recovered. Fix the update problems and this is a 5-star app.

If the game didnt crash on me all the time, this game would be perfect.

This is top of my list for favorite card games. This is a great app.

Great game, but crashes at every Builder phase if you have the Crane.

I love playing San Juan and this app is excellent. Im running an old 4s and its working fine. I hope theres an update to help out the other users soon.

I have finished 1 out of 6 games. Keeps crashing and cant get back into game. $5 down the drain. Please fix.

San Juan is a solid card game, and the devs have replicated it in full here. Suggested Improvements: 1) Include some (or all) of the changes introduced in the recent second edition of this game. 1a) This would significantly improve game balance. 2) Restructure multiplayer to support asynchronous games.

This is an absolutely flawless adaptation of one the greatest card games out there.

But Id love it even more if it had the treasure chest expansion cards.

This is a very nice implementation of the board game but for one issue. The app needs to integrate the new buildings in the 2d edition of the board game. Hard to understand why this hasnt been done already unless theres a licensing issue.

The latest update seems to have fixed all of the problems I was having. No more frequent crashes or corrupted game saves. Thank you very much!

This is a high quality and faithful port of the card game based on Puerto Rico. Thanks!

Love this game. This update fixed the scrolling ribbon (turned pink) bug and stopped offering to resume a finished game. Wish for local multiplayer so each user uses own phone instead of passing a single one around.

Updated review 1/29/16 I send my thanks to Ravensberger for keeping this game updated. San Juan was broken by recent iOS upgrades, but it was fixed relatively quickly and theyve updated it again to squash the two (minor) bugs Id noticed. San Juan is a great game and this app is a great implementation of it. The ONLY reason I cant give it five stars is because there is still no async play. Ravensberger, you produce other games with async, so why not this one? ------- Original review below Good game but the multiplayer lacks asynchronous, turn-based play. The dev claims the game is too short for that but thats a lame excuse: its longer than most async games I play. Come on! We want async!

This is a great game and well implemented in a digital form. Its very stable and smooth. Playing multiplayer needs to be more able to recover from drops in wifi. Would love to have a "local network" version that lets me hook up multiple devices without the Internet or Game Center. As is, if I have a phone and iPad with the same Game Center account, I cant play with both in one game.

I love this game but hard to find other players. Hoping this changes now that the major bug (Crane causing game to crash irrecoverably) has been fixed.

Boring to play with pc

This used to be a fun game. Then a crappy update caused the game to crash or become unplayable for FAR too long. Its finally back and is enjoyable again. The original game is elegant, as is this app (when the update does not get in the way). Deducted one star for previous update issues which were ignored for far too long. The most recent update (Jan. 2016) is helpful and now we can read each players score as the game progresses. At this rate it is close to a 5!
